“Duddles Eye began as my escape from stress — one quiet Friday at a time. I head out alone, visit the places most people never go, and take the photos that help me breathe again. What started as a way to cope has become the hobby that keeps me grounded.”
Duddles Eye is my personal photography project rebuilt from the original Dudley’s Eye and brought back with a name that means something to me. I capture real moments, natural light, and the small details most people walk past. This photo marks the return of the project and the reminder of why I started taking pictures in the first place: to slow down, to notice more, and to share the world as I see it.

Duddles Eye – Why It Exists
Duddles Eye began as my way of getting out of the house and away from the stress of life. Every Friday I would go somewhere quiet, take a photo, and give myself a day to breathe. Over time I started travelling more, exploring places most people never go, always on my own, always with my camera. What started as a job slowly became a hobby I love and now it’s coming back. One Friday at a time.

Duddles Eye is something I do to stay grounded getting out every Friday, taking photos, and giving myself space to breathe. If you’d like to support the project, paid members help me keep going out, travelling to new places, and upgrading my kit when it’s needed. Members also help me keep this hobby alive for the long run.
New photos will be added often, and some will be available to download or printed on photography paper and framed for anyone who wants one.
