ABOUT DUDLEY THE BRAND

HOW DUDLEY’S CAME AROUND!

Dudley’s Hub didn’t appear overnight. It grew over years of creating, rebuilding, learning, and finding new ways to share my life online. The brand started long before the shed, the Hub, the shop, or the model cars. It began with a simple idea:

Share what I love. Share my life. Share my story.

HOW DUDLEY’S CAME AROUND

2010 — The First Steps Online

My online journey started in 2010 on Facebook. I was in college, making friends, sharing photos, videos, and the normal things a 20‑year‑old lad shares. Nothing serious — just life.

Then me and three friends discovered Twitch.TV. Every Friday, we streamed together under the name Crazy Gamerz. It was fun, chaotic, and the start of everything.

We streamed for two years while we were in college, but like most groups, we eventually drifted apart. I kept going, though — starting YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and leaving Twitch behind to create a new brand:

BountyHunterGamerz Playing Cities Skylines and uploading daily videos.

2015–2017 — Work, Pressure, and the First Burnout

By 2015, I was working night shifts while my mum’s health was getting worse. I kept my channel going by recording videos on my days off and scheduling them for the week.

But I didn’t realise I was slowly burning out.

By 2017, I was:

  • working nights

  • caring for my mum

  • making daily videos

  • barely sleeping

  • trying to stay active online

I was getting 1–2 hours of sleep a day. My mental health started slipping.

But something new happened too — I found photography and vlogging. I started going out with my phone, taking photos, filming my days, and sharing them online. Instagram grew fast. Flickr grew fast. I needed a name for my photography, so I created:

Dudley’s Eye And renamed my vlog channel to Dudley’s Vlog.

This was the birth of the Dudley’s Network.

2019–2020 — Loss, Darkness, and a Full Break

These were the hardest years of my life.

I lost my mum. I lost a friend. I lost family members. I lost my job. I lost my home. I lost my pet. My dad and sister were struggling too.

Everything fell apart.

I took a full break from the internet — nearly two years away. No videos. No photos. No streaming. Just trying to survive.

2021 — The Rebuild

After moving home, I slowly came back online. Not with gaming. Not with photography. But with something new:

Scale model building.

It helped my mental health. It gave me focus. It gave me something to build again — literally and emotionally.

This became:

Dudley’s Scale Model Car’s And the brand started growing again.

2022–2023 — Growth and New Ideas

I needed a way to support the hobby, so I started:

  • Dudley’s Handmade Shop

  • Blogs

  • A website

  • And finally, the name that brought everything together: Dudley’s Hub

One place for everything I create.

2024 — The Plan

My goal is simple:

Make YouTube free for everyone, and use any money earned to buy models, glue, and paint.

In 2024, I planned to return to:

  • Friday vlogging

  • Photography

  • Gaming (maybe)

  • Blogs

  • Shop work

With a weekly structure:

  • 4 days working on the shop

  • 3 days away from the shop

  • 5 days away from the internet

  • Daily model building (6am–11am)

  • Shop work (1pm–5pm)

  • Gaming (7pm–10pm)

  • 3 livestreams a week

  • One day where my dad might join in building

The long hours aren’t for fame — they’re for stability. My goal is to have YouTube pay for itself and earn enough from the shop to keep going.

Friday is my “day off” — a day to vlog, breathe, and talk about how I feel.

THE DUDLEY'S SETUP FROM 2010

VISIT DUDLEY'S SHOP

Dudley’s Handmade Shop didn’t start as a business. It started as a way to keep something of my mum alive.

2023 — The Beginning

In 2023, I opened an eBay shop to sell the handmade cards my mum left behind after she passed away. It wasn’t about money — it was about giving her work a place to be seen, appreciated, and shared.

After a few months, I bought myself:

  • a cutter printer

  • an inkjet printer

And I started making my own cards. That was the moment the shop became mine — not just something I inherited, but something I was building for myself.

Late 2023 — Moving to Shopify

As the shop grew, I moved from eBay to Shopify. This gave me more control, more space, and more freedom to expand.

I didn’t stop at cards. I started offering 3D printing time, custom prints, and small creative items. The shop slowly became a place where all my skills could live together.

2025 — Moving Into the Shed

In 2025, I built my new shed and moved the shop into Dudley’s Hub — the home of all my creative work. This made everything easier to find, easier to manage, and easier to grow.

Now, Dudley’s Handmade Shop sells:

  • handmade cards

  • 3D printed items

  • custom prints

  • creative accessories

  • and more as the brand continues to grow

The shop is no longer just about cards — it’s about creativity, memory, and building something real from the ground up.

Where the Shop Is Going Next

Dudley’s Handmade Shop is now part of the full Dudley’s Hub brand. It’s growing alongside:

  • Dudley’s Scale Model Car’s

  • Duddles Gamer

  • DanielDudleyUK

  • Dudley’s Hub HQ

And soon, the shop will have its own dedicated page on your website with:

  • product galleries

  • behind‑the‑scenes posts

  • 3D printing updates

  • card‑making stories

  • and your monthly creative schedule
