GETTING READY TO RESIN 3D PRINT
Welcome to Dudley’s Blog, on this blog I am going to show and share how I start my Resin 3D printer, My way work for me and I get less mess, than Other people do it another way. My way is not the best.

- BLUE ROLL
- KITCHEN ROLL
- YELLOW SCRAPER
- METTLE SCRAPER
- SOFT CLOTH
- GLUTHS
- COMPUTER
- RESIN PRINTER
- SOMEWHERE OPEN
IN COLD WEATHER
- WARM WATER
- IN HOT WETHER
- NEED TO BE UNDER 30C
I work in a close workspace and my printers are very close to me and my working place, I always open my windows full and both my doors fully open and then get 4 blue tissues and split them into one and the have one left over to clean the tank,glass top and the tools, The blue roll get’s it up better and less work, get the kitchen roll and sprit two of them.
After I have got blue and white in front of you then I get the one blue then fold it to keep it for use, The others will go in front of the printers and the others folded up and but to one side for when I am done printing to clean the printer.
Now I have get up that I get the tank and have a look around and clean it to get away any left-over resin or dust, Then I get the resin out shake it then go to my computer set up what I am printing then get it ready,
to send to my printer when its sent to the printer I get the tank and but it on the blue roll then put water in the tank then the printer should be ready leave it for a bit get a soft cloth and clean the glass top under the tank will go to get the dust off, Then I go back to the Tank then lift it up if there is no wet patches put it on the printer, If there is a wet patch it need to be fixed, save that blue roll and I will wipe the lid and where the lid goes on the bottle, and use it to keep the yellow/plastic scraper and clean tank, The file will be ready to print then I lift it up for the last time and look then screw it on then I get the build plate wipe it with a soft cloth, (If you have a older printer you will need to level at this part, My printer does it automatic) Then place it on the printer soft so the resin don’t go everywhere, Then I press print the printer will go through everything then start printing.
Now when I am waiting, I get the cleaning part ready then get the blue and kitchen roll in place with the right tools like metal and yellow scraper and cutters, and somewhere to put the cut off onto, then leave it to work.
