Mark out some flat firm land 3m by1.2m put waste vegetable mater to form the first layer in the summer put on soft hedge  trimming ,grass mowings outer leaves of vegetables and any animal dropping no diseased material should be put on to the heap tread  the heap once in a while and sprinkle Sulphate Ammonia at 15g/m2 then sprinkle with36l of water add another layer and add135g/m2 limestone then water361l sprinkled on water weekly if hot and dry

GREEN MANURING

Question to have the ability to obtain sufficient manure or composted vegetable waste one way is to grow  green manure crops such as Mustard ,Italian Ryegrass broadcast  at rate  of 33g/m2 only preparation is light fork and raking and application of 33g/m2 of granular Nitrogen fertilizer these are dug in  the ground when30cm tall if followed by vegetable crop 15g/m2  nitrogenous fertilizer should be applied

SEED SOWING AND THINNING, TRANSPLANTING

Seed sowing should be carried out in dry so as to allow treading without adhering to the bottom of boots hoe or lightly fork over the ground to depth of 5 – 7.5cm to allow the soil to dry to allow it to crumple tread the soil then rake it

Now make drill space 15cm a part these need label (lolly pop sticks) the rows run north to south or north-east to south-west in windy areas
